Who knew that our Malaysian TikTok rising star, Amir Muzam, has an artistic flair in him.
A few months ago, he joined a trend on TikTok called 'The Artist vs. The Arts,' dropped a bomb, and completely wowed everyone with his skillful drawings.
He displayed his drawings of The Weeknd, food (onion, pear), nose, lips, buildings, teapots, as well as a butterfly on a flower, all in different shades of black and white.
With just a sketchpad and a sharpened pencil, he gained an impressive 84.3K likes for his video while looking sharp in a timeless black and white suit.
Amir Muzam, 19, revealed in an interview how passionate he is about his drawings and the creative process he uses to draw them.
"I draw out of passion, but sometimes it also depends on how I'm feeling. I'll complete all of my drawings if I feel up to it. However, I won't draw if I'm tired and have little to no motivation.
"I normally just take a picture and while I look at it, I'll draw, so it's not hard for me to think of what to create,” said Amir.

Amir also added how his passion for drawing began after studying Graphic Design at his university.
"There is one subject in a class I attend that requires me to sketch. This subject inspired me to draw.
“I'm able to maintain a good balance between my passion for drawing and my daily life. I don't actually complete my drawings in a single day. For example I'll draw the hand today, and the face tomorrow,” explained Amir.
Just a month prior, a second TikTok video of his drawing went viral, gaining 11.1K likes. In it, he drew a figure of himself but later played a joke on his fans by replacing it with a picture of Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants.
Fans were immensely impressed with his drawings in both videos. Most fans commented about how amazed they were and how talented Amir was.
Amir continued by saying that if the opportunity arose, he considered pursuing arts in the future.
